I’ve been wanting to set up a weekly feature on the blog for some time now. Aside from reading, I am also somewhat of a crafter (though I don’t do it much — I still like looking at crafty things). So after weeks and weeks of throwing ideas around in my head, tossing them in my mental garbage bin, and coming up with new ideas, I am ready to introduce this feature to my blog.
Pins, Posts, and Reviews is a bi-monthly feature here at LadyBlueJay. PP&R showcases of all the posts from the past weeks on LadyBlueJay, as well as the interesting articles and cute bookish (and non-bookish) crafts that I come across while perusing the bookish (and non-bookish) community.
LadyBlueJay’s Posts & Reviews
- After an unintended hiatus I am back to blogging!
- I recently finished Darkfever by Karen Moning. This series is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
- I plan to complete all 1.072 pages of Stephen King’s Under the Dome. You can join me or just show your support, either would be greatly appreciated.
Posts & Reviews in the Bookish Community
- The Well Read Wife posted a very helpful article for new bloggers who are attending book related conferences.
- Literary Inklings posted a personal essay listing all the reasons she reads. Fantastic post!
Cute Bookish Things
- On Twitter, SmashAttackReads shared these super cute library cards she got from Zazzle. They help her to keep track of the books she is currently lending out to fellow readers.
Have you stumbled upon any good book related articles this week? Let me know in the comment below!

I love those library cards, they are perfect for book bloggers to use as swag !
I know. The go so well with her blog theme too. When I get enough money I am going to get some. They are so cute!
Smash is super talented in her scrapbooking stuff! I love when she posts stuff that goes with her hobby!
Thanks so much for the mention, Jayla! I’m thrilled that you enjoyed the post so much – sometimes with those personal sort of essay-style posts I worry that they won’t be as interesting, you know? I always want there to be something useful for people in my posts, but sometimes the spirit just moves me to put things out there and see how they go. (:
And those library cards are adorable! I love that idea.
Thanks for stopping by Casee. I know what you mean about the writing spirit moving you. I get those sometimes, though they are not in the form of blog posts.
Yay! I love that you love the cards. Everyone should have some. Heh.
I hope you are enjoying Mac and JZB!
