Pins, Posts, and Reviews #2

Welcome to the 2nd installment of Pins, Posts, and Reviews.

Pins, Posts, and Reviews is a bi-monthly feature here at LadyBlueJay. PP&R showcases of all the posts from the past weeks on LadyBlueJay, as well as the interesting articles and cute bookish (and non-bookish) crafts that I come across while perusing the bookish (and non-bookish) community.

LadyBlueJay Posts and Reviews

LadyBlueJay got a makeover! Do you like it?

The Artifact by Patrick Astre isn’t an audiobook I would recommend unless you need something to pass the time.

The world Erin Morgenstern creates in The Night Circus left me in aw. So much so that it became the inspiration for this week’s Why I Love Wednesday post!

Bloodfever by Karen Marie Moning is equally addicting as Darkfever. This is truly becoming one of my favorite series to date.
Posts and Reviews Through in the Bookish Community

Kat and Jess over at Books and Sensibility wrote this really cool article about famous people who have narrated YA novels. Check it out!

Thanks to Kai from Fiction State of Mind Tweeted about this sweet deal — The Girl of Fire and Thorns is $2.99 for those who own a Nook! (Price may change!)

I stumbled across a neat idea from Book Riot. If you have the Instagram app on your Iphone/Ipod, you may be familiar with the Photo a Day meme that has taken over. Well the lovely bookish people over at Book Riot decided to create a monthly photo meme based on things book related! Check it out.

USA Today got an all exclusive from Marissa Meyer, author of Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles #1). Check out their article which features a cover reveal, author interview, and sneak peek at Scarlet,  book 2 in The Lunar Chronicles!

Cute Bookish Things

The other day I stumbled across this really cute and super easy bookmark idea. I think these could make some cute swag for giveaways and such!

And this isn’t bookish, but it’s still interesting. My friend from work showed me this website Refashionsta.net. If you watch Rachel Ray you may have seen her on the show last week refashioning thrifted clothes into fashion miracles. Check her out!
