I was born and (mostly) raised in the South, but I love to travel to the city when things in the country get a little boring (that happens more often than you think). As of right now I am studying to become a Young Adult librarian at the University of South Carolina. I can’t wait to get an actual job in the field!

This blog is a mish-mash of all the things that interest me. Most of the posts here are about books that I read and review, but you can also find posts about photography and crafting. The main goal of this blog is to create, inspire, and read.

Create: I want to help my readers create a love for books and a love for art. This doesn’t always come through in my posts, but it is something I hope to work on in the future.

Inspire: Inspiration comes is all forms. Most of my inspiration for photography or crafts comes in the form of reading and writing blog posts. Book can introduce us to a range of ideas, places, and things that we aren’t familiar with. I hope that this resonates with you guys in my posts.

Read: Reading is essential to life. You may laugh, but I am going to stick with that motto. Whether you read fiction or non-fiction, romances or steam-punk, reading helps build vocabulary, promotes thought, and encourages discussion.
